The Exquisite Corpse of Tule Lake
Drawn by Torreya Cummings, Matthew Harrison Tedford and Kristen Brown
Tule Lake was the site of the Modoc resistance in the nearby lava beds, and later of a Japanese internment camp. Both of these struggles involved the U.S. Military, and I think more people should know about them. Although the site is not a person, it is a largely unknown ‘veteran’ of military actions.—Torreya Cummings
