The Exquisite Corpse of Gonzalo Chaidez

Gonzalo Chaidez passed away March 10, 2015 at the age of 64 in Tijuana, Mexico. He was a U.S. Army Veteran born in Durango, Mexico but had been living in California for over 50 years before being deported to Tijuana, where he received no VA Benefits and died from tuberculosis. He lived the last four years of his life at the Deported Veterans Support House.  After his death, his body was legally returned to the U.S. for burial by his family.
